Stone Library: a warehouse online.
A Randburg natural-stone warehouse — six collections, national delivery, trade and retail customers — and almost nothing online doing the selling. We built Stone Library a fast, elegant site that turns browsers into quote requests. In the owner's words, it doubled their online enquiries.

01 The brief
A warehouse full of stone, invisible online.
Stone Library is a natural-stone warehouse in Northriding, Randburg — tiles, cladding, countertops, staircases, memorials and bathroom stone, supplied and installed for homeowners, contractors and wholesalers across South Africa. In the showroom the stone sells itself; online, there was almost nothing to find.
They needed a site as considered as the material: one that showcased six distinct collections, spoke to trade and retail buyers alike, and — above all — made asking for a quote effortless. No shopping cart, no price lists to maintain; just fast, credible browsing that ends in a WhatsApp message or an enquiry form.
02 The design
Elegant enough for the stone, simple enough to sell.
We built the site around the material itself — full-bleed photography of real installations, a warm off-white canvas and a burnt-orange accent drawn from Stone Library's brand. High-contrast serif headlines give it an editorial, premium feel; a clean sans keeps everything legible on any screen.
Each collection gets its own space, labelled with the stone types it holds — Caesarstone, quartzite, travertine, slate and more — so buyers navigate by what they actually want. Throughout, a WhatsApp-first call to action keeps the next step one tap away.
03 What we built
Built to turn browsers into quote requests.
Every decision pointed at one goal — make it easy for a homeowner, contractor or wholesaler to find the right stone and ask for pricing.
Six collection showcases
Cladding, tiles, countertops, staircases, memorials and bathrooms, each presented with the stone types it covers so visitors self-select fast.
WhatsApp-first quoting
A no-obligation quote is always one tap away, so leads land straight with the team — commission-free, no middleman.
Trade & retail in one site
Copy and pathways that speak to homeowners and DIY buyers as clearly as they do to contractors and wholesalers.
Local SEO landing pages
Dedicated pages for Countertops Johannesburg, Cladding Gauteng, Tiles Pretoria and Tombstones Randburg to catch high-intent local searches.
National delivery, made clear
A delivery page that shows buyers anywhere in South Africa they can order, backed by Stone Library's own fleet.
Helpful buyer guides
Content like "granite vs quartz" builds trust and pulls in search traffic before the enquiry even starts.
04 On mobile
A showroom in every pocket.
Most of Stone Library's buyers arrive on a phone — often standing in a half-finished room or on site. The mobile build is made for that moment: fast-loading imagery, thumb-friendly collection browsing, and a floating WhatsApp button never more than a tap from a quote.
05 The result
A website that finally pulls its weight.
With the new site live, Stone Library's online presence finally matches its showroom. Enquiries arrive directly through WhatsApp and the quote form — no middlemen, no commission — and the team can point any customer, anywhere in the country, to a site that sells the stone for them.
In the owner's words, online enquiries have doubled since launch.
Not only did they design a stunning website that perfectly captured our brand and doubled the number of online enquiries we get, but they’re currently working on an automated stock management and invoicing system tailored specifically to our business.
